Matthew 2:1 The Birthday Of The Messiah, Part Two

During the sixth month of Elisheva' s, Elizabeth, pregnancy Gavri-El, Gabriel, came to Mariam, Mary. Gavri-El told Mariam that Elizabeth was six months pregnant. This was six months after the priestly course of Abia which puts us at the end of the month Kislev (November-December). This would have been the time of Chanukah, the Festival of Lights, the rededication of the Temple.

Mariam is also told that she would be a vessel for the Messiah. This is confirmed when Mariam goes to Natseret, Nazareth, to the home of Elisheva and Zachar'yah a few days after Gavri-El announcement. I find it exciting that it's a three day trip to Elisheva. Can we say, "on the third day"?

Upon her arrival, John leaps for joy within Elisheva's, Elizabeth, womb. Elizabeth also, upon hearing Mariams voice, is filled with G-ds Holy Spirit. She says, "Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb."

Therefore, on the third day, following Gabriels announcement to Mariam, Yeshua was in her womb. Yeshua was conceived at Chanukah, the Festival of Lights. It's only appropriate since He is the Light of the World, and he is responsible for the rededication of the present day temple of G-d, that is you and me.

You can read this account in Luke 1:26-55.

  1. Hi Keith,
I love the way that the scriptures have 'hidden codes' that reveal far more to us than what they appear to show, and there are so many things that refer to the 'third day'.

  2. Hey Brenda,
One of the most exciting moments, in my life, is when I discovered the multiple layers of understanding, in God's Word. It's inexhaustible.

  4. I know exactly how you feel Keith. The word of God spoken to us once we are born again takes away both time and human reasoning.

I deleted the previous comment because I included the word 'fear'. Although God's presence and love takes away fear of man it actually brings fear (total respect) of God Himself.

  5. Hi Keith,
I noticed that your pic is missing on my 'followers' section. I just wanted to ask you 'Is it something I have done or said, or is it because you don't believe that we should have 'followers'? I am just curious to know the reason.

I notice that you don't have a 'followers' section, and I have never liked that part of the blog really, it just makes it easy to click on a pic to read someone's blog. It would sound better if the word was 'readers'.

I just want to make sure that I have not caused you any offence in any way.

  6. Hi Brenda, No offense. You were correct and I just eliminated the followers section and inadvertently deleted everybody. Again, no offense. We are definitely on the same page. :-)

  7. Hi Keith,
that is fine. I really don't mind at all if you feel uncomfortable with the word 'followers' as I do, and remove that section. I just thought I might have offended you. I love interacting with people and speaking about the Lord, I believe that we can all encourage one another. The reason I keep the list there is so that I can just click on the pics and it will take me over to other people's blogs. I feel I learn a lot regarding the Hebrew language when I come over to your blogs and want to learn a lot more. I believe absolutely there are hidden messages in the original texts.
